Product Features

• Two-Stage Filtration System: Typically comprises a primary filter element (outer filter) and a safety filter element (inner filter). The primary element filters out large dust particles, while the safety element prevents impurities from entering the engine during primary element replacement or in the event of filter paper damage.
• High Filtration Precision: Utilizes imported filter paper to achieve a filtration efficiency of 99.7%–99.9%, effectively capturing fine dust and sand particles.
• High Dust-Holding Capacity: The wide-pleat design increases the effective filtration surface area, boosting dust-holding capacity by approximately 2.5 times compared to standard filter elements, thereby extending maintenance intervals.

Precautions for Use

• Regular Cleaning and Replacement: It is recommended to periodically clean the main filter element—working from the inside out using dry compressed air—based on the dust concentration in the operating environment. The filter element must be replaced immediately if the resistance indicator triggers an alarm or if the element is damaged.
• Strictly No Water Washing: Standard paper-based filter elements will deform and lose their filtration effectiveness upon contact with water; therefore, they must never be washed with water.
• Seal Inspection: During installation, inspect the rubber sealing ring on the end cap face to ensure it is intact. Verify that the air filter housing is tightly sealed to prevent "bypass leakage" (air bypassing the filter), which could lead to engine cylinder scoring.
• Integrated Usage: For optimal engine protection, it is recommended to use the engine oil and filters specifically recommended by Weichai in combination.
